VICTORIAN SPLENDOUR, YORK

Victorian Living at its best, stylish home near “Bishy Road”, (the Notting Hill of the North!) and just 10 minutes’ walk from York City Centre and Racecourse.

With free parking for one car, this lovely home retains many period features including Minton tiled hall, original cornicing, cast iron fireplace and picture rails. It also has outside space to eat and take advantage of the sunshine.

With three double/twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cosy lounge and a large dining room there is plenty of space for a large family or up to three couples.

Bishopthorpe Road lies just south of the ancient walls of York, a short walk from the city centre. The independent shops, cafes and businesses that make up Bishopthorpe Road parade have been serving the community for over a hundred years.

Those who know and love this quirky little corner of York refer to it affectionately as ‘Bishy Road’ for short. In 2015 it not only won the national Local Parade category but was honoured to be crowned the over-all Winner of Winners!

The perfect York location for seeing the sights of the ancient city, wining and dining on your doorstep and attending the races at the famous Knavesmire racecourse.
